At STONES, we believe every gemstone carries a story shaped by nature, time, and its origin.

Rooted in Sri Lanka, historically known as Ratnadipa — the Island of Gems — the business traces its origins back to 1950. Built on generations of experience within the gemstone trade, it stands today as a third-generation family business, with a deep understanding of sourcing, handling, and evaluating fine gemstones.

This legacy is carried forward through a combination of traditional knowledge and internationally recognised gemological training from the (GIA) Gemological Institute of America.

The focus remains on sourcing natural gemstones from some of the world’s most renowned origins — including Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mozambique, and Colombia — with careful attention to quality, character, and authenticity.
